How far would you drive to purchase fishing gear?
My 81 year old Grandpa and my Grandma are driving from their home near Thunder Bay to Springfield, Missouri to go to Bass Pro Shops. Now, there is a Bass Pro in, or around Des Moines, Iowa but that's not the big one and Grandpa is insisting that they go to the big one in Missouri. They're going to drive about 940 miles, approximately 14 hours of driving, to buy fishing stuff. He's a crazy old guy but I love him to bits.

He bought a few things and enjoyed the trip. He told my Grandma that it would likely be his last trip to Bass Pro so he wanted to go to the big one. Bless Grandpa, he's the best.

About a mile. Thats approximately how far Walmart is from my house. Coincidentally the other fishing gear store in town is about the same distance.
I made this!

Before they go, you should let them know about Walmart. They have fish stuff. All sorts of fish stuff. Fishing rods, fishing lures, fish patties, tackle boxes, singing fish, fish sticks, fish houses, fish tanks.... All sorts of fish products!!!Oh Canada wrote: ↑Thu May 24, 2018 8:50 pmMy 81 year old Grandpa and my Grandma are driving from their home near Thunder Bay to Springfield, Missouri to go to Bass Pro Shops.
