MN Rube Chat

It appears that soon no one besides Comcast will offer it. Are they pricing themselves out of the market perhaps? It looked that way to me, last year when they started negotiating with Dish. My cousin is a Dish retailer, so I've gotten a lot of behind the scenes info on it, and that's kind of the w...

Everyone wanted to pile on Dish Network when they lost the regional sports, but I think it's becoming clear that Sinclair is the issue. It's just a matter of time before they're harder and harder to find. If they're goal is to have their own streaming platform, then they might as well try to go tha...

Has anyone heard from Eroder?
It's been nice around here without him.

Who?

CMD your question about the transfer of criminals should answer it self. Who runs the state? WHo has lied from day 1? But lets believe what they tell us to do for our own good. They are fucking lying and they got poor C scared to death. I don’t know how those prison transfers work, when they’re fed...

So is this what I've missed out on this season?

When do the Lynx start again?

Greg Gagne doesn't make a shit play like Polanco just did.

In honor of slim, I had soup for lunch. Well, it was Wisconsin Cheese, so it wasn't really straight vegetable soup. So, it was only sort of in honor of him.

Is John Castino hurt, or something, that he's not playing?

He's plowing your mom.

Are you and I brothers?

Chewy is pretty fucking awesome too...

I ordered some dog food yesterday at about 5 pm, and it showed up about an hour ago - FEDEX delivered that...

How's it taste?

This is the first game I've seen all season. Thanks Dish/FSN!

Duluth area is higher than Saint Louis, which at last report was up at 16. That was 9/12 and we have been rising higher ever since. The health department thing sounds like kind of a joke. In the StarTrib a district was at 57 and stayed open. We won't hit 50 and go distance for elementary and I doub...

Getting close to 30 per 10k up in Duluth. I used to think about all the tourists who came up here and how our numbers were stuck. Now we are through the roof and Two Harbors had a traffic jam 15 miles long last weekend. So now they will bring it back home. Schools are gonna be closing up north and ...

I don't know, just posted what I've been told. I would guess the refusal to shut down, bitching out employees for getting tested, and not granting sick days would be grounds for the establishment getting in trouble. Hazardous or hostile work environment? I'll let you know when I hear more. I could ...

Well, if I were to leave, this whole place would collapse in about 24 hours.

That being said, my absence would be noticed in about 12 hours...

Who?

My sister works in a daycare, half their staff ended up with COVID. Owner shut the place down for a week back in May. Then others tested positive in July and she refused to shut down. Bitched everyone out for going to get tested. Last I heard the employees were talking to a lawyer. they are going t...

There was a post a while back regarding that whole buddy thing.

And yeah, I'd hate to see someone just up and leave without any notice. I feel like there are a bunch of froobs that would genuinely care about each other's well-being, and would want to know if something is up.

The daycare center issues are interesting. Daycares didn’t have to close in MN. In fact, the state was asking daycares to potentially be open longer hours. I need to look at the weekly report to see how they’re handling it in the cities. Down here, there’s little to no cases, based on the info my w...

Strib article today brings the heat: https://m.startribune.com/in-class-virtual-hybrid-schools-watch-covid-19-data-to-decide/572568052/ TLDNR: Schools have been going to distance or hybrid learning since opening day. It’s been a mixture according to areas with outbreaks. Kids can pass it to adults....

Rumors are Hockey and winter sports are going to be about 5-6 weeks long this winter, now that they reallowed football and volleyball. Probably not. Football has already had 2 weeks, and many schools had summer workouts. Im guessing the hockey season starts practicing in December(girls and boys) an...

Sad to report that he ain't even dead.

I'm assuming this report is coming directly from your perch atop the house across the street from slim's?

If I may be so bold ... no, leaves are a much better option, no matter the excremental viscosity. Cobey and slim were out driving along the countryside, one fine Sunday afternoon. Suddenly, slim had to take a dump. He asked Cobey if he had any napkins or paper towels, but alas, there were neither. ...
